ok to clarify that chart in the last post the negatives in each are the fee's and the zero's are the transfers.

but anyway, I always thought this was a good plan. The amount taken out of my paycheck is always the exact same as contributions on statement so I don't see where any fees besides the ones mentioned would be coming from.

Oh, you have Journeys? They are portfolios where they take all the other funds they have available, and allocate a small % for you in each. Sometimes, the % allocation is as little as 1% to 2%. I believe the Balanced American portfolio is a little different from the rest, but I don't remember the details how.

Now, you don't have to share this information publicly if you don't want, but what you would really want to know is, in exact dollars, how much of the % in gross your are suppose to be contributing per paycheck versus how much they are listing in contributions.

For example, if it turns out that you are suppose to be contributing, say, $100 per paycheck, but your contributions statement says only $95, then you'll know you were hit with a $5 sales charge when you bought the fund. You just wouldn't know it because you would only see the $95 contributions without any frame of reference. Does that make sense?

If I remember correctly, that's how I sat down and confirmed that I was class A, because otherwise, they don't list how much money I've lost to date due to the front load.

I'm fairly certain that "other activity" fees does not encompass all of the fees that you are hit with. I believe the details of this fee could be obtained in their SAIs upon request, and I actually remember emailing a request for it once, and I got some kind of run around about being more specific about what kind information I am requesting for or something. But by then, I was changing employers, so I didn't pursue it.

And who knows, in the end, maybe your front loads are also waived, which would be great too. But even then, they don't hide their relatively high expense ratio. It's right in their prospectus. Feel free to do what you want of course, but I moved my money out the second I could.

the contributions are the same exactly to the penny as the amt taken out of my paycheck.

Just for curiosity that wouldn't matter much now that I am no longer contributing would it?

            Thanks for your help!

Interesting. In that case, you most likely either don't have class As or that it is made exempt for you..

One last question if you don't mind, or if it's too much work, don't worry about it. What was the exact number of NAVs and NAV prices for your last contribution? The $144.52? Does the NAV purchase exactly add up to the contribution amount? I'd do it myself, but my account has already transferred, and the above numbers you've provided is for the total account balance.
