Re: What is your saving demon?

I hear the wal mart thing. I can not walk in the store with out spending $50. I also spend too much on the kids and they are grown. (22,21&17) Pretty soon it will be the grandbaby coming in Sept. I do have $200 a month go directly to savings from my check and $25 to my ING account. I don't see this money so I don't spend this money. I also spend too much on the dogs and My husband keeps buying tools he is just sure we need and that he can't borrow them from anyone else. (actually he just can't stand anyone to have a tool that he doesn't have.) Oh, and my adult kids keep borrowing my car or asking me for rides and at these gas prices that is definetly a demon.

Protein powder is my demon. Although it might be more economical than all of the cottage cheese we were purchasing before to get my protein intake.

BUT - a definite demon: I want to by a hip squat belt that costs $90 - and a loading pin that costs another $30.

        I'm waiting until Christmas.

Hey Jesse -- workout equipment (not that I have any idea what exactly you're talking about) is often available on the (not very) used market. You might want to check that out. Craigslist.org or your local paper or even a pawn shop . . .

You usually don't find a pricebook, you make one. Its a list of items that you want to monitor the price of over a period of time. Here are a couple of articles to get you started.
