How do you find new mom'n'pop restaurants?

We politely excused ourselves and went elsewhere. I'm sure the food would have been good if we could have figured out how to order it.

    Haha, that is funny. You probably missed out on a great meal, but I guess if there were no English options, it would have been hard to actually get that meal to your table. Besides- there are TONS of good restaurants in Toronto. I love that city.
