I'm curious if you would ever cyberbeg to raise money. I'm not sure if you all ever heard of savekayrn, but she paid off $20,000 in debt by begging on the Internet. Of course, now there are so many people cyberbegging that the chances of getting anyhing are pretty slim. I'm just wondering if anyone has tried or would try cyberbegging to make some extra money.

No I wouldn't, although I do have a "donate to us" PayPal button on my web site, for those who just want to help out with costs out of the goodness of their hearts. I have seen these begging sites before. I'm not sure how I feel about it. If people want to give their money away to someone running one of these sites, well, then, that's their choice. I don't suppose anyone gets hurt, unless the begging site is a scam to begin with. -

I can't say that I'm a big fan of these sites. First, like divajen mentioned, there is no way to tell if the site is legitimate or not. The savekaryn site was a women who was putting thousands of dollars on her credit cards for clothes and that is how she got into debt. That isn't exactly the type of person who needs the money in my opinion. I guess I feel it could have gone to others who were much more deserving. I think people would be better of giving the money to a quality charity.
But if people are looking to give away money, they are more than free to send it my way

idiots, the lot of them. Spend hours of their time making fancy websites to milk good hearted people of their money. Easy for them to do since its faceless and there is no way to know what the money is really going for. Talented enough to make a website, talented enough to find a job. lazy, nothing more.Comment
