You mean, assuming that everything else is taken cared of, and I'm only allowed to spend it with wanton abandon? Hmm.... wow, I'm not sure!

Actually, I wonder how much it would cost to buy a house that can look something like this?

And of course, I'd have go there and stay for a few nights (or more) for inspiration and to get a better idea of their design cues. But I'm only suggesting this for the sake of science and it'd be strictly business. Of course!

I would love to take a vacation in my own city. Stay at one of the really nice hotels with room service and just be a tourist in my hometown. I know that sounds corny but I have always wanted to do this.

I love the mountains, but I wouldn't mind having a little cottage near the ocean to stay during the winter months. (not in Fla.)

Sell the house. Buy myself a used houseboat. Hang up the party lights. Put on some slow classical music on the stereo playing way down low in the background. Buy a used vansized travel RV w/a trailer hitch for towing a zippy little used VW. Pay for a lifetime portal for the houseboat. Fill up all the gas tanks and the frig. Make friends w/the harbormaster. Summer at the lake - Winter travel. Pamper Vacation on a cruise ship via my timeshare exchange. Write you guys a postcard! Have my SS delivered to the bank and everything else invested and dividends reinvested in stable long term investments.

Uhhh, I think if I can convince The Hubster our retirement years may look like this. If no go for him, then if I outlive him this is what I plan on doing...millions or not!

P.S. Maybe I'll also have a small Vespa scooter as well for running qucikly to the store. Tool on over to Broken Arrow's pad for a visit in the rockin' lit'l VW!

I always thought I wanted a big RV to travel the united states. After living in an travel trailer while we built our house for 15 months I would not take RV living if it was free!!
When I build my next new big house, I will buy a smaller house to live it with my million!

I think I'd sit back and think about how I would use the million. I met a lady who had won 50000 the other day. She'd blown the lot on furntiure, gadgets and holidays. The interesting thing was she was still iliving in a rented apartment and didn't have a full time job.
