I think parents sometimes fall into a trap thinking a 1-2 year old doesn't understand them.
We spent Sunday without TV and without pacifier. He is such a big boy!
He asked for the TV (tee?) but I offered another game instead, no drama.

I have to agree 100% with you and Steve. He does understand almost everything I say to him. Thank you for reminding me of that.

I usually put the tv on in the morning while we make breakfast, get lunches ready, iron, etc... probably about 30 min. What do you guys do with your 1 1/2 year old while doing that... just let him tag along? I tried that but he seemed to just make things take a lot longer
I agree with the night tv... people watch way too much. Although my son (21 months) and myself will be watching the New England Partiots tonight for sure ;-)Comment
