There are several strategies to gut unstuck, motivated and inspired.

Google it, look also for procrastination.

    Some ideas:
Keeping a friend updated about your objectives is one, visualization is another, reading news about your topic, etc.

Freelanceswitch dot com is a place to get support and motivation.

I doubt I can mention it here but I belong to a paid community that supports online entreprenuers and they have excellent materials and support.

We all have strenghs and weaknesses, for the weaknesses it is necesary to reach out. We don't need to excel at everything, I say get the help you need to unblock.

      1. Do you either like, dislike or hate your job?
My day job is tolerable. As with every job I've had, I love the people I work with don't necessarily like the work. So I like my job, but not a lot. I also run a freelance gig, but the income stream isn't reliable yet. I don't do a good job marketing it, basically my fault.

      2. What are the reasons why you dislike like or hate your job? Please share stories.
I don't really have stories, just that it doesn't challenge me. I feel that I can do higher level strategic planning and all I'm doing is the grunt work. Basically I execute other people's ideas, when I know I can fully come up with my own direction.

      3. Would you prefer to pursue another career? If so, what is your plan?
I've always wondered this but I don't know what to switch to.

      4. Is job satisfaction or dissatisfaction negatively affecting your family?
I don't think it's affecting my family but it's slightly affecting me, individually, because I feel like an underachiever.

My Job now is ok. It is in the attitude. I try not to get into the drama working with a lot of teenagers it is a challenge. I just think about chores i do when i get home make a shopping list in my mind etc. if they ask me something i answer but that is all. Sometimes i chat with the middle aged ladies if I am at that work station.
btw i work in an assembly line, soldering electronics. So it is repetitve to the point my hands just do it and i don't think too much about what i am doing.

I dislike the repetitveness of it, but then I like that the line I am on is for the small orders so by the time I get bored we are making a different product.

I would love to pursue a different career but I have been here so long that my pay and bennies starting new somewhere else would not compare, plus there are not too many hiring.

I don't think it affects my family cause i just turn it off when i leave the bldg. work = off kids home=on Sometimes i talk about work cause i do have friends and I see them out side of work once in a while (bump into at walmart etc)
