  • Jet Blue 599$ deal

Hi. I wasn't sure which topic this should go under so I hope this is alright. I've been seeing advertisements for Jet Blue offering "fly where you want as often as you want" for 599$ between Sept 8 and Oct 8. It looks like you only have to pay taxes in the flights out of the US.

Does anyone know anything about this. We've been trying to pull together a last minute vacation and haven't been able to decide where to go. Maybe this is the answer. We can go multiple places.

    Thanks for any input!

wow that is a wierd promotion. But if you can go to Europe or Asia or somewhere like that you could cover that cost easily.

Nope, no Europe or Asia. Just US and Caribbean destinations. It'd be a good deal if you could take a month off work and just fly around.

"Anywhere you like" sounds better than reality with JetBlue, which is about 50 cities.

Frankly, if I had $1,200 to spend on travel plus money for lodging, events, and attractions, I think I'd manage to plan out a real trip to a certain destination or two, rather than hopping around a bunch of airports just because I could.

Even so, its a neat gimmick and could be useful/fun if the right multi-stop trip could be planned.

This is sort of true. Jetblue doesn't have a lot of destinations, but they fly a lot of places on the East coast and are now getting a couple more out to California/west coast. I don't know where you live, but NY, Boston, Orlando, Chicago, DC. There are a lot of good places that I'd want to fly and explore! School's tying me down otherwise I'd be tempted.

I just come to know about this decent offer, though many other air lines are also following the same path of increasing the business but they charge heavily on various accounts. Some issues should be confirmed -- if there are many hidden charges too, quality of the service, baggage permission.
