Zakity, did you not qualify for help if you were poor? One suggestion is that people who are struggling may qualify for CHIP, food stamps, WIC, etc.

We qualified for WIC and that was it. It was actually good because it did help me to learn to cook differently. Between that and PBS's cooking shows, my cooking improved immensely.
