  • Ok can I take a @#$% without using a reward card?

So me , my husband, and our baby boy decided to head out for a bite to eat and some light shopping the other day.

We went to Rio WRaps for chicken burritos. We got the reward card punched (buy 10 burritos can one free) WE used a newspaper coupon for buy a burrito get one free with 2 drink purchases.

We headed over to PetCo to buy our little dog a 5 lb bag of premium dog food. We had out petco card swiped (buy ten bags get one free) I used a $2 off coupon from my last reciept (We called in to take a survey)

Then we went to TCBY for waffle cone wednesday. (they are at a discounted price, no coupon needed) We forgot to bring out tcby rewards card with us(it's something like spend so much money and get some free mony to spend there)

I got a free gallon milk at cvs b/c I bought 5 with my cvs card this week too.

Head spinning and coupons coming out of both ends! lol

LOL! Very funny. It does seem like every place you go any more has a rewards program of some sort. And don't forget that you pay for all of your purchases with a rewards credit card.

LOL. I have a bunch of rewards cards in my wallet (in the same slot) and usually I'm at the register mumbling, "I know the rewards card is in here somewhere... give me a second...".

There is a company online (don't have the website with me) that will send you a keyring tag that is encoded with the info for multiple reward programs so that you can just carry one or two tags instead of a dozen. I keep thinking about doing it. They showed it on Good Morning America months ago.

I also have a rewards card for babie r us. They give you $5 coupon to spend in the store for every $150 spent there. I dont' spend much there, but I also used it that day which I forgot.

I was just being silly with my post. I know I can pay full price if I don't want to deal with coupons and cards. It is worth it However, getting out the door for multiple errands feels like a paper chase at times Sometimes we get down the street and realize we have to turn back for a coupon.

I just used a $5 off $15 purchase for a local pie company.

It really makes me think: A LOT of places out there want your dollar. My theory is there are people who will walk into places and pay full price. Then there are the rest of us who will go in b/c of a coupon etc and they want to get us in there too, but they would not make as much if we all used one.

I think getting a icecream cone with a rewards card is silly.
