No, we are actually the HQ office, the only paid employees (there are chapters across the US of volunteers) - sorry. I think that's why it works as well as it does though.

That is exactly why school needs to not be manditory, good teachers want out due to disruptive students who are there for the babysitting.

Have you looked into tutoring options or anything? maybe find the local homeschool group and see if you can work for them? Most HE parents look for outside sources eventually.

Hmmmm how do put this.......I generally enjoy what I do, as long as I am learning new things. I work as a software developer, and while I do enjoy it, there is a time when everthing starts to become a little stale. In the past whenever I felt this way, I would look for a new job (or career), but I do work for a good company with good pay and excellent benefits, so it has become harder for me to leave my current employer.

All the video game companies hire QC people. Thats what they do is play games and write down any bugs or issues.

While I dont hate my job I dont love my job either. It is interesting and I get to see a lot of neat stuff and learn how the company and competitors work. But I dont see myself here long term.

I am very much a work to live versus a live to work kinda guy.

I love what I do. As a nurse I love helping people. However, working for someone else I hate. Nursing is a very hostile, high stress job and NO I DO NOT RECOMMEND. For the education I have and what I do I am grossly underpaid. However, medicare just gave the nurse practitioner's billing rights. So I am in school and plan my own practice. I am successful at nursing, but only on my terms. I prefer the elderly and my specialty is geriatrics. The elderly have calmed down and are not rude and demanding. I live in Michigan and will move to Oregon or Washington for the hospital priveldges. I want my OWN practice.

Thought they used the free beta testers these days, lots of people I know are in on that, they get a beta version free but no pay.

Re: Do you love your job?

I absolutely LOVE being retired! :-) In my other life, I worked as a secretary, bookkeeper, office worker, went back to school and became a CNA, an LPN and an RN, and at the last a Care Cordinator in a convalescent center. Only the last job did I really love and only for a short time then things changed and it wasn't fun any more. But not once was I ever in a job outside my home that I wouldn't have left in a heartbeat if I suddenly had won the lottery or for some other reason could have stayed home. I was never career minded. I loved being a mother and home and would have preferred to stay home with my children. Now the children are gone but at least I am back home (since 1995) and I really love it!
