Keeping looking North Blvd is a very heavly traveled road I have friends that live there and they always complain about the noise from the cars speeding by.

A home is better than just being a house... I don't care if it's a little place , If it's cozy with a good ambiance, i'd probably buy it too....

Well, at least you put that one to rest. Better luck on the next find! It's out there somewhere.

Before I saw that you had nixed it, I was going to mention that a laundry room in a good place to look at adding a toilet and a sink. I couldn't tell where the laundry closet was based on the picture, and if expanding it into a room with laundry/half bath would have been possible. We had a combo room like that in a townhouse; you don't see that often, but it really works well.

I didn't read the entire thread so maybe I am to late but I moved from a 3bd 2ba with a garage rental into a 2bd 1 ba house with wife and 2 kids and no garage. I have sence built a shop out back on our property witch is about .60 acre. We payed 125K for ours. Payments after insurance and tax are under a thousand a month but only $100 more than our rent was. Before the housing bubble popped I have a coworker that sold his 2bd 1ba house for 319K not to bad if you ask me.
