  • Friday the 13th Coincidence

This isn't anything financial. Just found it funny. I am not a superstitious person at all. I think it is all a bunch of hooey.

At work, I always log how many patients I see during each office session. This week, for example, the number has ranged from 9 to 17, which is normal.

Today, Friday the 13th, I saw 13 patients during the morning session and 13 patients during the afternoon session.

How about last month, 13 Feb? If it was the same, that would definitely register for me as "strange".

ditto. ....I don't tell many people, though, because some people really are superstitions and it does creep them out. hahaha

No. I checked. It was 14 and 10. Would have been really odd if the same thing happened then.

Steve, are you a physician? I'm a pathology resident. Just curious!

Well, in any 400 year period (after the Gregorian Adjustment) the 13th is more likely to fall on a Friday than any other day of the week (starting with Sunday, the frequency in days is: 687, 685, 685, 687 ,684, 688, 684). If the 13th falls on a Friday in February, it will on March and November also.

Isn't this the most useless information you ever read?

For the near future, I recommend that you not step on any cracks, get off on the 14th floor of any buildings or play golf with pink tee's. Allow the carma to fade away.

My BIL feels the same way. He married my sister in law on April 13th. Some family members thought it strange, but I think it is great!
