I came across this website when I was doing some brainstorming on making some extra money. It seems simple enough. Try out some products, tell then what you think, and they give you a little bit of money for it. I don't expect to make thousands, but an extra 50 or 100 a month would be okay, assuming that this is a legit deal. Has anyone ever tried to do this? Was it worth your time?

I did Cash Crate for a couple months. Made around $100 or so. It is a pain in the patooty. You have to constantly clear your cache, create multiple email addresses, most big payout deals require a credit card or applying for one, give out personal info to multiple sources, etc.Originally posted by bjl584 View PostI came across this website when I was doing some brainstorming on making some extra money. The only way it could be really useful I think is if you could get a large downline and have 10% of them actually doing deals - then you might make something worthwhile. But . . . to get that downline would take a lot of time and probably cost money in advertising.

I am also looking for a way to make money at home. But whenever I find a site now, the first thing I do is go to yahoo and search it with the word reviews or something like that to see if people have had bad experiences with it. Sometimes I have to reword it. But it has saved me headaches time and time again. Search everything. trust nothing.

I agree it's possible to make decent money but it's a real pain. A big downline is your only hope of making money without driving yourself crazy.
I made a lot of money with Cashduck a few years back (several hundred dollars in maybe a six month period) but then all the good offers were taken away and it became more of a paid-to-shop site (like Ebates or MrRebates) and I stopped doing it.
I do okay with online survey sites, especially from referrals. My blog is pretty much defunct, but I still have my referral links up on there and a steady trickle of money comes in from the people who sign up through the links on my blog.

Everyone seems to be pointing me toward doing online surveys. Does anyone have any suggestions as to a good legit online survey site? Google returned about 1 million results when I typed in "online surveys" I'm sure that most of them are scams. Which ones are the real deal?? Thanks.Brian

I use Opinion Outpost and Pinecone Research probably the most. I've made around $102.80 since I started in September at OpinionOutpost. You can cash out after your account has $5 in it. Sadly, they don't use Paypal yet, so they send you paper checks. Pinecone is a well known survey site that pays out a blanket $3 for every survey and will sometimes send you a product to test for more $. Pinecone does use Paypal and pay fairly quickly after finishing the survey. Hope this helps!!!

I'm not allowed to post links because I don't have enough posts under my belt, but if you search for a blogspot blog called Survey Star, there's a good list there.Originally posted by bjl584 View PostEveryone seems to be pointing me toward doing online surveys.
