I sold something on ebay yesterday. I went to look for it today and couldn't find it. It is something small so pretty easy to misplace or get hidden behind/under something else. I checked all over, everywhere I recall having the item, with no luck. I finally e-mailed the buyer to let her know that there might be a delay in shipping until I locate the item. I continued to search, with DW's help. Finally, it occurred to me that I had another of the item in my own collection - identical item, identical condition. Rather than driving myself crazy searching for an item that I'm positive is in the house somewhere, I just grabbed mine and will ship that one. Eventually, the other one will turn up and I'll use it to replace the one I sold. Problem averted.
