I'm playing around with mortgage numbers...and want to know how fast I can pay off my loan if I apply an extra $50, $75, $whatever amount to my monthly payments...is there a website where I can do the calculations?

I download spreadsheets from here

And then go from there. When someone here posts a mortgage question I can plug numbers in and have an answer within a few minutes usually.

Excel comes with an amortization template (I didn't look, but that was probably in Jim's link).

Very simple way to run #s.

I use this one alot with work to help brrowers out with that. Even $10 a month has a huge effect on a 30 yr fixed.
