  • Feel the need to comment on gasoline prices again?

I do. I just spent $15.33 to fill up the tank at $1.27/gallon. Yesterday I drove by a station selling it for $1.26. Wow. Just wow.

Oh, and on our last credit card bill we only spent $18.43 for gas the whole month! All our gas goes on that card. We must not have gone anywhere.

    How 'bout you?

Filled up with the premium my car needs the other day for a total of $17 ($1.699/gal).... WOW!!! I've not made out that well since I was in high school... can't say how long it'll last, but for now, I'm loving it.

$1.34 here yesterday. Funny that you started this thread. I was thinking this morning that I'd revive my thread from when gas dropped all the way to $2.69. Now it is half that.

They did say on the news today that oil prices will probably tick upward due to the middle east conflict (not that we get any oil from Israel or Gaza).

$1.37-1.55, base price varies a lot here by location but no matter if its at the high or low end, we have been filling up for ~$9. We have a small tank but still $9 for 140 miles is decent. As a teenager my dad's gas guzzler cost me $20 to go anywhere.

Boy, you all have great gas prices - not that I am really complaining about ours after the 4.50 or so earlier this year, but ours is 1.71 at the cheapest place.

I am still paying $1.87 for premium, but I am not complaining. However, I can remember when gas was 17 cents a gallon.

Any time there's a conflict in the middle east(anywhere) they warn of supply disruptions . It rarely happens but I'm sure opec isn't complaining.

I've also heard they want to cut production( they've said this for a while). Until supply and demand force prices back up it will hopefully stay cheap. It's interesting but I think we witnessed the american pricing threshold this year.

We are at $1.69 for regular unleaded. It cost me less then $20 to fill up last week. I am most pleased about home heating oil because I ordered it yesterday and it was $2.00 a gallon. It cost over $4.50 a gallon this time last year.

I filled up my PT Cruiser Turbo with premium last week for under $20

Ive owned the car for 6 years this Feb and Ive NEVER done that.

Our little Toyota Yaris clicks off around $13 and lasts 350 miles or so. Love it!

                          Gas costs about 1.89 here.

(I see that hybrids are starting to lose favor again - does that mean behemoths will bring the big 3 back to financial balance again?)

It shows 79.6 cents/L but we use the "Extra" level gas so it is about 86 cents/L. Pretty good from $1.5/L

I filled up yesterday at $1.57 a gallon for regular. When I purchased my new car (Toyota Matrix) last May, I traded in a Jeep Grand Cherokee. It was costing me around $65 to fill that tank. Now it's about $15. I really love the smaller car and I still have a lot of cargo room.

I am dismayed to hear that sales of big SUV's are starting to go up again? (Sorry I cannot remember where I read/heard this report, it might have been on CNN.) Do people not learn?
