      Debt-income

It is the best feeling when somebody is owe to you instead you owe for somebody.
My debt/income ratio is 0, and I can invest my money to earn more.
It is more worth to wait for a while before buying something and invest those money, because if I spend everything now I will not have money for investing, so I will not have extra income.

Our family debt to equity ratio is 1.5%. I have a car loan. I think a more important percentage is debt to asset ratio or even total net worth.

My daughter has a 0 debt to equity ration but she is also worth NOTHING. That's not exactly a good financial position.

This is quite a dead thread revival. Our numbers are 34% and 12.6% as we contribute heavily to 401k, company stock, and HSA.

            Updated:

14% Gross, 16% net. Still just mortgage.

We've refied to lower rates (twice since this thread started?) and have higher income.

COnsidering refi to a 15-year term, but would like to keep debt to income ratio 20% or lower (20% of gross income). Almost there...

Plan is stll to get our debt to -0- in 10 or 15 years. I am 35.
