  • Anyone have an INGdirect electric orange account?

I have a savings one...but was looking into this as well..

I have both a savings and an Electric Orange Account at ING direct. It is convenient to transfer money back and forth between accounts. I prefer ING Direct to other online banks even though the interest rates are lower. With external linked accounts, the transfer time is only 1-2 days for me, as opposed to 5-7 days with other online bank accounts that I have.

I have an Electric Orange account, but have recently transferred all except for $1 out. I opened an account with Bank of Little Rock, which is paying 5% on the first $25000 if you meet a few conditions. I had no complaints with the Electric Orange account. Transfer times, web interface, getting paper checks mailed, etc were all fine. My brick and mortar checking account is with Washington Mutual and I would use that account to deposit checks and cash into and then transfer it to ING.

I really like my Electric Orange account. I use it almost daily.

I have an Electric Orange Account. The transfers from my savings account and checking account are fast so I have no problems using them.

Yeah, I noticed that too. My INGdirect transfers take around 2 days, while my HSBCdirect transfers take around 3-4 days.
