Use a gas rebate card. My USAA Mastercard gives me 3% bonus rewards for gas purchases on top of the 1% normal rewards (4% total). This is equivalent to 15-16 cents a gallon.
EDIT: Also, Consumer Reports says that rolling down your windows doesn't help your gas mileage for highway driving because of increased drag. You are better off using the fan with the A/C off and the windows up.
I get pretty good gas mileage, so I put about $55 in gas in my car every week & half. I'm just glad I don't have my 100 mile round trip commute anymore. I would be broke. Literally!
I also use a credit card that gives me a percentage back on gas. With gas prices at ~$4 a gallon, a 3% rebate amounts to $0.12 off per gallon!!
$75.88 for the month, so that would be $18.97 per week. This is for one small car that my husband drives to work, or with which I carry husband to work. We also take a carless friend to and from work about 3-4 times a week, and take him to a grocery store about once per week.
We live pretty close to most things we use the car for. Sometimes we walk --like yesterday when we went to the pharmacy on foot. I try to drive "gently" for fuel savings, but my husband certainly does not.

My 05 Toyota Sienna gets crappy gas mileage at 17/18 mpg. I don't recommend. However, I bought it new and it is paid for and only has 23K miles on it so I am sticking with it.
I put about $40-$50 dollars in every week for gas. I also use my Chase card for a 3% rebate on my gas, which is a good thing since gas is still going up.
I spend about $70 a week. Living in ther suburbs~ housing is cheaper, but everything is so spread out! I feel like I criss cross the town every day just to run errands and get around.
My 99 Subaru cost me $48 to fill up today, and I fill up about every 2 weeks.
I basically drive only to work and back. If I need to do anything less than 3 miles away, I get on my bike or walk. I work across from a grocery store, so I do my grocery shopping at lunch.
I have a VW Touareg that costs about $75 a week to fill up. I drive a lot because my son is autistic so he goes to several therapies (horseback, swimming and his therapist) that are all off the island. I also drive him to and from school. I am also a Realtor so I am in the car a lot. I can write most of it off so at least that is a plus.
I run all of my errands in one day. I hit the stores clockwise from my house so I can get in and out easier (no left turns). If we need something during the week my DH will pick it up because it is on the way home from work.
We are also checking the pressure in our tires more often because that helps quite a bit with our gas mileage.
It's about $60 a wk for my nissan altima and $75 wk for my husband's durango....we both drive about 60 mi a day(m-f) and sparingly on the weekends. If we do drive on the weekend, we take my car.
Just estimating - I imagine my wife and I spend $25 combined on gas per week. We have fairly fuel-efficient vehicles, live 5 (her) and 8 (me) miles from work, and we try to drive as little as possible. I bike to work 3 times a week.
