    Interesting question.

At work, to my coworkers I'm "the young one". I'm 31. There's one other woman who's 37, but everyone else is over 50, and most people are over 60.

In my neighborhood, I'm probably "that white lady". (our neighborhood is predominantly black)

But most places, I'm "L's mom". Funny how our kids define us for so many years of our lives.

They don't even ask for a name.
Hah, that reminds me. I ALWAYS get the same thing when I order something from Port of Subs. Large #8 on wheat, mayo only. They know to start preparing my sandwich when I walk in.

All the women in my family are very predictable when it comes to their meals. My dad no longer asks my mom or myself what we want when he goes to places like Port of Subs or our usual restaurants. At new restaurants he'll predict what we'll get and he's almost always right.

DH and I are the youngest people in our subdivision.... I told my 40 y/o neighbor that I was 26 and DH and I have been together since we were 17 & 19 and when we were talking to the other neighbor the other day she was like "Yeah, they are very mature for their age" (I just wish our finances reflected less debt... although I won't feel as bad once we sell the rental and the CC is paid off). I think if we are known as anything... we are the young family in the neighborhood. We don't party or anything... on the weekend you'll find my DH mowing the lawn, all of us going on bike rides with the baby in the bike trailer. I think if anything we are just a young and involved family.

Oh and we live in the "baby house" the people who owned this house before us had 5 kids... and just as luck would have it I found out I was pregnant with my 4th a week before we closed on this house.

I've had the same problem in life... Dh and I are major introverts and don't go out of our way to socialize.

My other forum sometimes refers to me as the rich one. (most of them are much younger than me and they don't save)

I am currently, "the only young guy at the town meeting," a and have just become, thanks to DW, the guy who "walks the cat on a leash"

That cat is too darn cute though.

In my neighborhood, i'm that "guy always working his front yard alone" cuz none in my family could do it. It's not like I don't need help, I do! But all I get is a stare when asked DW for some help. Go figure! . Then there are kids, except their just still 2 and 4 years old
                    Got debt?

We are known as the "easy going, friendly, interracial couple with a really cute kid" to most people. At school I'm known as a "ball buster" because I don't play around when it's time for learning (some teachers that I work with struggle with their classroom management). In my family, I'm known as "the one who's always late."

                          "The runner"

I've had a number of people say "You look familiar... wait, do run out by XYZ in the morning?"

                          Small town life, I guess.
