  • What's selling on ebay?

For those of you selling on ebay what are you selling? I have sold in the past and am not sure I want to get into the hassle of selling again. I was sucessful with selling high end kids clothes in the past but have found a consignment store that will sell them for me and I don't have to ship them
Just wondering if anyone has been really sucessful lately and what it is you're selling.

I'm only selling stuff from our house. Right now, we're selling my husband's surplus army items. Camo caps, pants, shirts. Last week I sold under armour and camelbaks. The high end kids clothes still goes. That's all I know about right now.
My other blog is Your Organized Friend.

Mostly clothes although they don't go for much. My biggest sales have been on hard to find books.

My husband sells game 'stuff' he had to do a decent amount of research to find what sells and what doesn't, and for what price. it was a lot more work than just listing the stuff. but it did turn a profit..till he got tired of it.....

I have been a steady seller for the past 3 yrs, the profit on ebay has considerably diminished. I recommend selling stuff around the house that is eating up space and your glad to be rid of it. I dont think profits earned on ebay are worth finding wholesalers and setting up a store in ebay. I am recycling inventory on ebay that has not previously sold, and once that is gone, I am out.

If anyone is really into Ebay selling you can actually subscribe to an Ebay research service that gives you access to top searches and sales by category. This way you can target your products towards areas with high demand. Making big money on Ebay is certainly not as easy as some would make out though, fees and competition means the margins are often pretty tight.
