It depends. We're having our taxes done tomorrow. We don't believe in loaning the IRS money all year, so we owe come April 15. Once I know how much we'll owe this year, that may determine where the stimulus payment goes. Assuming we owe $2,000-$3,000 for taxes, the rebate will just go to help replenish the money used to pay the tax bill. Not too exciting, huh.

    * Despite the high cost of living, it remains very popular.
    * Why should I pay for my daughter's education when she already knows everything?
    * There are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going.

I'm in the exact same senario. Since the checks don't come until May or later, It will just fund one of my quaterly's.

DH's student loan. Same as every other spare penny this year. Also not that exciting.

Either into my savings, or my car note. I'm more leading towards the car note at the moment.

We are installing an invisible fence for our dog. We were planning on installing one but this makes it happen sooner.

Back to the IRS - owe around $1k that I don't have earmarked/saved. (In the end I guess I should say savings, since I didn't expect it. Otherwise my savings would have been $1k lighter for the long run).

The other $800? I think we will use it for some long needed work around the house.

It's all money we would have spent anyway. But I think we would have waited at least another 6 months to save the money for stuff around the house. So it will be nice to do it sooner.

Probably $1200 to supplies for twins being born within next 3 months.

That should pay for diapers and formula for a week or so.

Whatever I get, if anything, will probably go in the gas tank! By then, gas will probably be over $4/gallon. It's $3.12/gallon here in AL...

But seriously, if I get anything, it's going into savings (to fund my gas budget). I've already cut back on my driving ALOT. I do most, if not all, my errands on my way home from work. Since I live 24 miles away from work, I'm watching every mile I drive...

Since we already sent a $900 check to the IRS and another $655 will be sent to the NC Tax man, that took care of our $1,500 stimulus payment already.
