You've given me "food for thought" OP

I try to fast 1x a month for spiritual purposes, but I never eased myself back into eating like what you've posted here. I never before thought of it that way. Thanks!

Scanner: Thanks for the recipe. It looks tasty. Is the creatine high because you are getting too much protein? I did his diet a few years back and lost weight, but I had to stop because I was becoming too weak. My blood pressure really went much lower. I take a blood pressure pill so you have to watch how low your blood pressure goes. I think that his diet is good to jump start a diet and to cut down on the carb addiction.

Well, it's almost 24 hours and no veracious appetite has returned. I had a light breakfast this morning - 5 fork fulls of chicken sald + half orange.

I will probably have more chicken salad for lunch with maybe some slice of bacon.

Another weird thing - I am semi-addicted to soda (diet and full strength). I have no desire to drink soda after this - I have been happy with filtered water.

        My Wawa trips are nil.

I am going to lightly exercise today as my strength feels normal.

So, from what I found on google, fasting can be used as a time to detoxify the body. Does anyone have any evidence to back this up?

No, no evidence. . .it's a pseudoscience claim I admit. It feels that way but it's entirely subjective.

"De-toxify" is one of those vague words.
