Pam (who has taken several people from these boards in the past to do TV news segments) is looking for someone to be interviewed about emergency funds. Here is what she wrote me:
My name is Pam Wheaton Shorr, and I am a television producer for a national TV news feed (www.newspronet.com). I am currently working on a very tight deadline on a piece about where to stash your emergency funds. I am trying to find a consumer who is interested in knowing more about where to put their own emergency savings, and which options are most productive for saving (e.g. money market funds, laddered CDs, simple savings accounts). If you or someone you know has some interest in the topic and would be interested in speaking with us on camera, please send me an email as soon as possible. We have crews around the country, and can usually get a crew to most locations.
