Hi, Jason. My ex-husband provided the unexpected help. The help he provided was none at all. No child support even when I worked 3 jobs, and he decided to work under the table or not at all. No child care. No insurance. Helped me become more self-sufficient than I probably would have been otherwise. Homeowner for 18 years. His mommy bought him one a couple of years ago. Great relationship with my kids. Him? Little to no relationship with them. We even have his mother for holidays, tho that's a story in itself. Might not have been what you were looking for, but he really did help me, most unexpectedly.
