We went to Lowe's today because we needed a new range (which we get to deduct from our rent). We didn't have to, but we picked the cheapest electric range there. It looks nice and does the job. Next to the ranges were the sample "kitchens." The one closest had an under-the-counter ice-maker that looked like a mini refrigerator. $1200 for a lousy ice maker that does the same job as a 50 cent plastic ice tray. The kitchen also featured a mini under-the-counter wine refrigerator with wooden racks in it. That was also something like $1200. I can't believe people actually feel they need these things, especially for those ridiculous amounts. Add those to my list of things I'd never waste money on even if I were rich.

Even If I Were Rich I'd Never Buy This

Whats wrong with the ice maker in the fridge? (not that I have one...) just wondering why you need to run two appliances to chill water...wouldn't one do the trick?
Not like this was a second 'bar' in the 'rec room'..right? Though if it came with it's own bartender...nah, still prolly wouldn't, I drink water cold, but most hard liquor straight up...(and skip the chaser) (though wine I might cool ... cept I drink wine wiht dinner, so why not store it in the fridge...)

I don't even like wine, but that's my understanding of it.
