  • Off to set up for a rummage sale

My wife is in charge of our synagogue's annual rummage sale being held next weekend. We're going in today to start setting up. Donations have been coming in for the past couple of weeks and filling a POD container in the parking lot.

Setting up, of course, means that we get first shot at any of the merchandise. The bulk of stuff is clothing, but there are always some really nice things donated also. I'll report back if I come across any great bargains.

We're back. Spent about 4 hours setting up and made a fair amount of progress though there is still plenty of work to do. Lots and lots of stuff. No particular treasures so far. I did look up numerous things on ebay while we were there, but didn't find any that were of particular value. We did find a few little treasures that we bought for ourselves, though. Probably the best thing was a practically new fanny pack. We've been looking for one for DD and haven't been able to find one. Even if we found one in the stores, I'm sure it wouldn't have been a quarter.
