We wash our cars at home but not on a regular basis. Its usually when I can't stand looking at the dirt anymore, lol

Usually I would wash my car myself although there are some $3 car wash places close to my house that are not a bad deal at all. (I have an all black Chrysler 300C so it hides dirt fairly well).Comment

I am weird. I am borderline OCD on keeping my car clean and washed with no regards to future weather patterns. However, I cannot fathom making my bed every morning only to come home later that evening to mess it back up again when I go to bed!

I take mine to the car spa, but it's not very often. Last time was in February. They do a very good job.Comment

I have a dirt-colored/tan Ford Taurus so how lucky is that?
That being said, I do wax the cars with Nu-Finish ("the once/year car polish" - yes I'm brand loyal - it comes in an orange bottle) to protect it. So. . .the cars can be kind of dirty (washed every quarter) but I know at least the body is protected.
I wax in the fall and spring, right before the weather extremes for protections as per my father taught me.Comment

heh, totally normal, but yeah a bit contradictory....I make sure beds are made every day, but I leave dirty dishes in the sink all the time, I think everyone has their own contradictions.Originally posted by brig2221 View PostComment

I have a black car and wash it regularly. I will never buy another black car. They show dirt immediately (plus the birds seem to use them as target practice - especially when they are freshly washed, lol).Comment

I wash mine because I am cheap. LOL. I have in the past took it to the car wash maybe like twice a year.Comment
