Question for those with no land line phone

    There's a product called Dock and Talk that I'd really like to get, but they're still over $150 and that's too much in my opinion.

    You dock the cell phone, it charges, and any calls coming in will be broadcast to normal wireless telephones in the house. I often leave my cell in one room and then can't hear it ringing, so I miss a lot of calls in the evening and on weekends. They say the sound quality is more like a landline, which is a nice additional perk.

    I wonder if it's secure and how it keeps from broadcasting to your neighbor's phone, but we'll see.

      because the number has been in our family for 50 years (yeh yeh, strange... while other families pass down priceless heirlooms, we pass down phone numbers
      We must be related. When my parents moved out of town, my brother took their phone number. Subsequently, he moved out of town, but he now has the number for his cell phone. We've had it in the family for around 50 years also.
