Trans Credit Financial Sweeps Rip off or not?

I was wondering if anyone else on this site got a letter and check form Trans Credit Financial. The letter states I won 82,000.00 USD. The check enclosed (for 2890.00) is for administrative payment and clearance fees for the winnings. I am to contact someone at the company whose mailbox is filled (and according to the "ripoff" site has been since day one) Normally I just shred this stuff but the check looks real and I am tempted to fax or RRR snail mail both the bank listed on the check and the company. Was wondering if anyone else got one and what they did.

I haven't gotten one, but don't waste your time and just trash it.

It's total garbage. Put it in the shredder/trash and don't give it another thought.
