neighbor problems

When I was a kid we lived over record store.. I grew up with the thumping, and found it hard to sleep without when we moved on the rare occasion a neighbor has a party outdoors in the summer with my windows open..I enjoy the thumping

But in general I can't hear a thing with windows shut, so only 4 months a year do I even know I have neighbors...and I am the one with the screaming kids.

As to other ..errr childish stuff, we don't have too much of a problem, one more thing to be grateful for

No problems now...our only close neighbors are brothers...each built a house next to ours. We had no close neighbors growing up - they were both about a half mile away. When we lived in the city for a few years, it was much worse. Dogs barking, people stealing things from my car, and then there were the teenagers next door when we lived in an apartment. They jumped onto our balcony when we weren't home and stole our Nintendo, liquor, and candy. Ugh.
