Thirds is always great - PAST (bills), PRESENT (current living expenses) and FUTURE (savings).

    Some do a 10/10/20/60 plan.

    10% tithe
    10% savings
    20% bills/debts
    60% current living

(But anymore 10% isn't enough for savings as there is a need for retirement savings as well.) Play around with the percentages.

You are in the right place!
I like your idea the most just because you said Tithes I AM VERY SUPRISED! I always have to put the Lord first before anything. I like that you broke it down a lot. I am also wondering this Paycheck is of corce 67.00 so do you think I should incorperate the plan with this small amount or what???

ALSO to answer all your questions about the phone bill. My parents are there when I need them. They have my back when it comes to the phone bill they pay it when I can't. But I hate to put that on them I hate having to ask my parents to help me pay the bill. Because they have done so much for me and I hate that I am having to do that to them. So what I am tryoing to do is to get the phone bill and such covered. Also I DONT want to ask my parents to help me pay te car insurance because that is just TOO MUCH TO ASK!!! So I am trying to get that paid most of all. The 30.00 is now gone. So now what???

Now when you say Current living what do you mean???

      Why wait??

You never have to wait to pay any bill on or before the date due. That just makes you miss it and have to pay a late fee!

PAY THE BILL THE MOMENT YOU RECEIVE IT. Your account will be credited if you've paid early, and you won't have to worry about spending the money!

Open a savings account. Every time you get paid, put a little in there. Then look at it, pat yourself on the back, and smile. (And whatever you do, don't touch your savings! If you want to buy something nice, work a few more hours.)

Shop around yourself for car insurance...I think it is great you do not want your parents to have to pay.

And I ditto the text not being a necessity...really you will be fine without it, get a second job to fill your time and you wont be able to spend hours texting!

Seems like you have a few bills due right now? Have you looked into selling some junk? or even back issues of your gaming magazines? you will need to do some research and trial and error, but lots of nich markets sell well.

Very short term...got some friends who are eying up your nifty room accessories? offer to sell em, and commit to not re-buying.
