Supposedly after the ridicule started, it was claimed she was "joking". There are people who don't use toilet paper and use washable rags and there is the whole movement of washable menstrual products, but personally "no thanks", I will just continue to reduce, reuse and recycle (except when it comes to that part of my body).

it's a shame that someone like chery crow, who as a public figure commands so much attention, would focus her environmental efforts on toilet paper, something most people won't take seriously. I mean, she could have talked about something else that people might consider doing.

I think it's a shame that the Sheryl Crow toilet paper story broke hours after the Sheryl Crow/Karl Rove/Global Warming story broke.
