My goodwill only has 50% off certain color tags on Monday & that's it!!!
The best deals we find are Targets Dollar Spot items sell for .25 ea!

Otherwise like op mentioned the HD boots for under $3! What a steal! They'd charge probably $8 or more here for something new.

The Goodwill stores in the counties of Southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois have a club card. You read that right; a club card called "Club Goodwill". You can get one at any of the Goodwill stores in that area.

The club card gets you discounts on certain days and for certain segments of the population like students and seniors. In addition, you get % off mailers (a lot like Kohl's) and a birthday postcard with another % off discount!

For store information Goodwill General - Goodwill Industries Home - Goodwill Home Page OR Goodwill Chicago - Goodwill Industries Home - Metropolitan Chicago

I forgot about the mailers. I don't think I've seen one in a while. But it isn't too often we find something there we want.

I had a good buy the other day at our local charity shop. I bought a tissue box cover. Done with beautiful folk art flowers. I did folk art many years ago and gave up as it was costing a lot of money and my time.
I estimate that about 20 hours of work has gone into it and it only cost me $3. Very happy.

In reality, I don't NEED pants, I just want them. I can go to Goodwill and find pants for under $5 and quell the urge to go shopping. I'm by no means a fashion diva, but I enjoy clothes.

My best find was a brand new BCBG Max Azria sweater for $5. BCBG sweaters retail for $100+ (which I would NEVER pay!)
