You may have to wait until Monday. Call them them. Wish that I knew more about it. Problem is that I'd probably have the same problem'
Did anyone see her PBS special. She is quite proud of what she's doing' Seems like a good plan to me and especially for women.

I watched Suze's program last night and looking forward to watching her PBS special on Wed. night. I am really enjoying her book!
Of the eight steps she outlines on becoming a wealthy woman, I liked her explanation of courage. Takes guts as well as a desire to get ahead to make it.

Oh - I have to say I saw a blurb about the book and wasn't too enthused. BUT I Watched her PBS special and it was AWESOME!!!!
I bought YFB for some friends and skimmed through it and was disapointed she did not discuss more the psychology side of things - I think what i love about her show. Getting to the root of why so many people/women spend money they don't have, fall into the same traps over and over, etc.
But this is totally what this book is about. So now I am excited to read it and share it.
I knew a little bit about her history, but apparently not much, she got a little auto-biographical in the special - her story is a little a la "Pursuit of Happyness" - she just walked in and got a stock broker job because she figured it was the way to make money. As she told the story I Was just absolutely mesmerized.
She speaks very wise words. This book can and should apply to every aspect of your life. Take care of yourself and the rest falls into place. THEN you can take care of others, and it will mean so much more... Amen.
I think her PBS Special was so wonderful as she got choked up as she says these things - it comes from the bottom of her heart... I know too many women who give way more than they have to give, and are miserable. I Was just about shouting "amen sister" at the t.v. LOL. Well it will be interesting to read the actual book... If it comes across so eloquently as it does in person...
Earning $100 is pretty cool too!

At first I thought it started out way too simplistic, but now I don't think so. She's targeting women that may not have handled any personal finance issues and she does a good job at explaining everything.
She isn't writing just for the beginner though. She covers a lot of ground in this book and explains everything well.
She has teamed with Ameritrade to make a great offer to get women saving money and I opened an account today. If you agree to direct deposit at least $50 a month in an Ameritrade money market account for a year, at the end of the year Ameritrade will deposit $100 in your account as a savings incentive. I opened my account this morning as soon as I got up.I would have done it sooner but the offer didn't start until today and it ends on March 31st. You have to have the code from the book to be able to open the account. Well worth the cost of the book!
