I've noticed some billboards around town that have sayings like, "If that money is burning a whole in your pocket, you need more than some new pants." and then has "feedthepig.com". I looked around the site. I guess it's been started by some cpas to try and get folks to save money. Anyone else seen it? I haven't spent a lot of time looking through everything.

Re: Have you seen "Feedthepig.com"?
Hehe, thanks for sharing the link. I'll have to take a look at it some more later, because I'm interested... and I'm their target age group anyway.
This reminds me of something funny that I saw from a tax preparation company. Their slogan was something like, "We file your returns faster than you can spend it!"I'm not exactly sure what that's suppose to mean, but... I admit it's true! I'd immediately plunk it down my student loans though. Still, it's kind of sad if you think about what they're most likely implying.
In any case, I'm not sure if I'll even get a return.... I still have to sort out that mess between my ex and I.
(Update: Ok, I just watched one of their videos, and let me just say that I'm a bit perturbed by this.I see where they're going with this, but a regular piggy bank would've been good enough for me thanks.

i really dislike the pig-guy they use in their commercials: reminds me of the figure used in the 'energy hog' commercials (same concept guy dressing up in pig makeup). since the looks are so similar, i can imagine some people being left with a negative connotation even without knowing why...
