I agree, even though I do earn a higher income than average. I look in magazines and see ads for $5,000 watches, $60,000 cars, $200 dress shirts, etc. and wonder who the heck they are targeting with those ads because it certainly isn't me. I'd much rather see ads from the local thrift and consignment shops.
