• Money affirmations

I feel a little silly asking this question, but does anyone know if money affirmations work? Do they help you bring money into your life? Does anyone use them? As you can see, I'm at the point where I'm willing to try anything.

Re: Money affirmations

I don't think there is anything wrong with using them. I have my own little ones I use for myself just to keep me motivated. They aren't going to change your financial situation all by themselves, but they can help to keep you motivated and focused.

I don't know about affirmations, but I firmly believe that charity brings good things into my life. I'm in the place now where I can donate money, but if you're not able to do that a donation of used items or time is as good or better.

Crosses,

I'm curious what type of affirmations you use. Would you mind sharing?

I whole heartedly agree with this. The money that you give to others is returned to you many times over in a variety of ways. Even if you don't have any money to spare at the moment, you can give money with clicks of you mouse. I really llike this and do it daily. It only takes a few minutes.

I don't think they would be bad as long as you don't rely only on them. I don't have affirations, but I do talk to myself and pep myself up when I'm trying to save. I think you should do whatever works for you.

I don't know if they are proper affirmations or not:

Saving is good
Saving helps me make my goals come true
I don't need anything new today (I use this before going to the store and don't want to stray from my list)

Little sayings like that

This is not really an affirmation, but a prayer:

Lord, help me to be content in all things and to live well below my means.
