Thanks, I got a recording telling me to go to Live help online .
It is rare to talk with any real person anymore.
Live help passed the buck and said they were going to notify ebays trust and safety dept, who will probably pass the buck on to someone else.

I am through selling on ebay! I have 100 percent positive feedback. I have been a god seller and buyer but I am tired of all the hassle when things go wrong.
Maybe the Amish have it right.. a simple life is much more pleasant.
Sorry to ramble on... I am just weary tonight from trying to get this problem resolved. I have winners of my auctions who have paid me and I am all ready to mail thier packages and yet ebay is not helping me .

In Dec I changed my email address at Pay Pal and eBay. I was sent emails from both of them to confirm this change which I responded to. All my info at
ebay and Pay Pal reflects this change.
So when my auctions ended this week I sent invoices to the winners and I have been paid through Pay Pal. My balance is not changing at Pay Pal in spite of these people paying me.
I was notified at the old address that I had cash, not at the new address.
I don't know where my money is.
It really puts me and those who have bought my items in a bind. I have always mailed my packages promptly, but I am not going out here and mail these packages and spend over thirty dollars in postage and not even know where my money is ! I know it's not in my Pay Pal account!

You probably only changed your main account e-mail address with eBay and PayPal and not the PayPal payment address on eBay.

That is, you PayPal and eBay account settings may have one address but you can still have a different address established on eBay for where you want PayPal payments sent (since a person may have a different e-mail on PayPal than eBay and may have multiple PayPal e-mail addresses.)

Perhaps not. But that would explain it. Sorry to say, it won't necessarily help with this.

Of course, you said you knew that the person had paid you. If this is the case, you could add that e-mail address (the one that says a person has paid you) to your current PayPal account. When you do, you would then be able to receive the funds into your account.

You might try calling the same number but instead of 2, press 0 once the start of the menu is presented.

Be prepared to wait on hold a very long time. And then be prepared to talk to a completely clueless person when you finally reach a CSR.

I had a similar issue with ebay a while back. I did a little research and came up with a list of phone numbers, the titanium level powerseller support is the best one to call. They don't want anyone that isn't a TL powerseller to call, but they did help me with my issue.
