I have a class project in which I am suppose to interview a professional writer about his/her composing process and was wondering if anyone (who is a professional writer) would answer a few questions. I would really appreciate it

    * What kind of planning do you do before you write? do you make a list? Formal or informal outlines?

*How do you compose your drafts? do you dictate? Draft with a pen and paper? Compose on screen?

    * when you want advice about style. grammer, and spelling what source (s) do you consult?

    * Do you ever work with other writers to produce a single document? If so describe the process you use

    Thanks

Perhaps you could find an interview with a famous writer online. Maybe your favorite author?

Im sure the questions must be similar.

My ex is one, but if it wasn't for the very small complication of us being divorced, I would've gotten her to help you.

Have you tried looking for some kind of online writer's guild or forum? Surely, there has got to be one on the internet somewhere.

So what do you mean by professional anyway? Does that mean fantasy writers need not apply? OR only paid writers accepted?

I sent a card to a writer asking him if I can co-write with him for a comical story entry. Of course he didn't agree, we ended up as 'competitors". Guess who won?.......................

                              it was him jajaja
