as a kid i loved to iron, don't ask me why. my mom hated it, so she'd pay be a quarter a shirt to iron once a month or so. nice lesson about earning money doing something you enjoy!

I do very little. Whatever I do the wife does over again. I try not to make a mess and stay out of the way. I do my own laundry and ironing though!

The Hubster does his own laundry and ironing as well. It's for the better - he's more of a detail stickler than I am and it makes him happier than when I do it! I'm all for making him happy in this instance!

DH does his own too, as he likes dryer sheets and i can't stand 'em, they make my skin feel filmy and coated. few times he's asked me to wash his clothes i didn't use them, so he stopped asking.

last weekend he said he needed to do 2 loads of laundry but wanted to go to a store, too. said it'd be great if he left and his laundry was magically done when he got back. i looked at him and said i wish my laundry (not to mention the houses laundry!) would get magically done when i was out of the house too but it had never happened for me so the odds were bad it would happen for him!
