  • I feel really bad about something....

Six years ago, I won a sweepstakes for $150. However, I worked a lot and I was a freshman in college. I got busy and forgot to claim the reward. By the time I remember, it had been claimed by somebody else.

Lately for some strange reason I had dreams about this event. I don't know why I have dreams about this now when six years ago I barely thought about it. I am now financially much, much better off than I was six years ago. I guess I had become much more frugal right now and I view money with a lot more importance.

Sorry about it guys, I really just need to vent.

Hehehe, I'd be haunted by it too if I didn't claim $150.

I don't know why you would feel bad after all this time. Alot of people forget to spend gift cards as well.

Decide to take it as meaning that from here on out you will redeem any opportunities that come your way in a timely fashion. $150 seems a relatively inexpensive price to pay to learn that lesson.

I'm being an annoying armchair shrink here, but maybe you're dreaming about this because you feel like you're passing up a current opportunity?

I think Fizgig might be on to something there. The other thought is that you might subconciously be thinking you are being less than diligent in doing something in your life.
