  • How do I clear Google search memory?

When I use Google to do a search, as I type the first letter of my search topic, a list appears with all previous searches starting with that letter. How do I clear that memory?

Darn blasted browsers and their "features".

I tend to like to try out different browsers from time to time (usually between Firefox, Opera, and Safari), but the first thing I do before I get on any website is to run through and tweak the settings.

One of the things I remove immediately is any use of histories, forms, and password recalling "features". Opera is real good about that and has all of that organized unto a single, easily accessible pane. Safari's latest version takes it a step further with a simple "privacy mode".

It may seem a tiny bit paranoid and you do give up a little bit of convenience, but that's just the way I like to operate.
