Would you return the plant guaranteed for a year which didn't get watered enough? Watered too much? If it was your fault the care was poor?

I nominate my better half for King of Returns. It all started when he built an add-on to our home.

The returns! Too many, wrong size, change project...It must be pandemic because the stores have major return departments now right when you walk in! (ie Lowes, Target, etc).

I gave him a GPS last year so we could go geo-cacheing and he returned it! I was looking forward to the family trips for treasure hunts.

His returns are all legitimate, nothing used or worn goes back

I think he is right. I would do the same thing. If you can do without, why keep it, I would rather have cash instead.

My sister is the Queen of Returns. No matter what anyone buys her she returns it for something else. She would get indignant if someone gave her a gift certificate though! There is an element of you cared enough to shop as opposed to just giving a gift certificate.

I told my sister that it would be easier just to get the gift certificate and get what she wants in the first place. I got "The Look" and just dropped the subject. I guess she just likes to shop! Go figure!
