  • Website Dedicated to Regifting!

While Digging, I stumbled upon Regiftable.com, a website dedicated to the concept of regifting. The actual 'information' on the site isn't necessarily that inspiring, but they have an area where you can read/post good and bad regifting stories.

On the left-hand side of the site is an area called Regifting Robin, and it's downright eerie!

Shameless regifter here. I have rules around it though. I only regift nice things that are unopened/not used. Tacky things are specifically regifted at white elephant parties, with our group of friends its practically expected that you bring a tacky gift Makes for a fun party.

i thought the certificate was pretty neat, too, PW... haven't tried to see how they print out yet, but there is a color printer at work i might wanna 'borrow' for a page or two!

i'm going through and reading some of the regift stories, and they are a virtual 'what NOT to do' for those that are new to regifting. definitely some awkward moments that could have been avoided!

it's been a while since i have personally regifted an item. i'm more prone to regift 'generic' items like stocking stuffers, easter basket bits, that sort of thing. something that was especially personal or thought out as a gift i'm more likely to keep. although, if someone flat out admires something, my family sees nothing wrong with wrapping it up and giving it to the admirer. that's how i got my glass bucket.
