Re: thanksgiving dinner gift?
a donation to whatever her field of missions is, dinner out while you are visiting (or homecooked by you if she is not territorial about the kitchen), gc to local grocery, relaxation basket with paperback, candle, etc.., bottle of wine or sparkling cider

Re: thanksgiving dinner gift?
we already donate to uguanda, that is where she missionairies...she doesn't like to eat out. i will clean up the kitchen and assist with her cooking menu... sparkling cider is a thought.. she only reads the bible.. no t.v. etc. she uses computer... so i was thinking maybe a cooking dvd. this woman asks us to donate, within the first half hour of talking to her and then asks if we are ready for the kingdom... she is nice though.. thanks for the response... it helped.

Re: thanksgiving dinner gift?
I would think being thoughful & helping around her home while you are visiting.
Or if you have dc's you could always make some fun lil centerpieces. We always make a paper bag turkey for their center piece on their table & the kids do turkeys outlining their hands to decorate her fridge
