  • Will You Shop on Black Friday?

I was reading Jeffery's article on the best way to shop on Black Friday and I've been doing it wrong all these years!! I never knew people were that tricky.

I don't shop for the electronics, but there are some good deals out there so I usually go. The main problem are the crowds. Do you go for the deals or do you stay home to avoid the crowds?

ACK!!! i don't remember the last time i shopped on black friday, it gives me a headache just thinking about it!! seriously, my family's tradition for a couple of years has been to hole up at someone's house, eat leftwovers till we're ready to pop, and avoid the mall like everyone there has the plague.

We usually don't go out on that day. Stay at home, eat leftovers, watch football. If kids here, we might be playing a game. I just can't handle crowded places. We usually don't have everyone's Christmas list until after Thanksgiving. Then we shop the first week in December.

I'll be out there, fighting the crowds.

I'm generally a relaxed Target Black Friday shopper. I go about 8 or 9 am after the crowds have died down a bit and get the few sale items worth shopping for. Target is usually very well staffed and put their sale items in several areas of the store...like TV's in the womens clothing department. So depending on the sales...I'll be out.

I'm off to check out those black friday ads on the web!!

Not me, no desire, plus the fact that the nearest mall is a 2 hour drive one way!

it would have to be an awfully good deal to tempt us out of our "cave".... we really dislike crowds and most years we just relax at home together...

No way!!! Never have done and don't have the desire. I don't care for shopping much to begin with and really hate it when it's crowded. I don't care to go to Walmart on regular shopping days because I feel too crowded.

I worked in retail one year on Black Friday. It scared me so badly that I have never shopped on that day!

I worked in retail way too long to go near shopping on Black Friday. I will enjoy sleeping past 3 am

Nope. My goal is to be done shopping before black friday!

Nope, neva, eva. I will do my Christmas shopping the way I have for the past few years which is online through a moneyback site. It's worth it to me to pay a few pennies more to avoid that madness.
