  • Your Thoughts?

Hello, I was just wondering if anybody on here is familiar with the mvelopes online software. It seems like an awesome budgeting tool but I'm a bit leary of putting my financial info online. Any info or opinion is greatly appreciated.

Here's the website if you are curious to know more...

    Re: Your Thoughts?

Oh, I just love this system! I've been using it for a few years and it was the system that allowed me to turn my finances around. Those little cyber envelopes really taught me for the first time was a budget was and how to save for furture expenses. I love the fact it pulls all the tranactions for you from everywhere. It took me a little while to totally trust the system and there are little things every now and then that they have to work out, like when your CC site changes, but overall I LOVE IT! I've never had a problem with paying my bills, or the fact that they have my info. It's a trust issue and I've never had a problem, nor heard of anyone having a problem. They have a great customer service staff to help you through the learning curve and answer any concerns or questions you may have. Also a personal friend of mine is one of their larger financial backers and he never has anything but good things to say about them. He says they are always one step ahead of his questions and is pleased to continue backing them. Personally I say go for it!

Mvelopes has been mentioned quite a bit on here, but I think it's worth looking into the many alternatives out there before you commit your money to it. That is not to say that Mvelopes is bad. It's just that it costs money, and I recommend to try the cheaper methods first.
