I get my gas for $1.89. I could get the gas at the walmart gas station for $1.85, but I have found that my truck takes more gallons of gas than the shop I go to. So even though I pay more per gallon, I buy less gas, so it is cheaper.

This is how I found it out. I had a quarter tank of gas, and I had put $40 on my gas card. When I took my truck to walmart gas station, it took the whole amount without it filling up. The next time I need gas, I was out-of-town in the country. I was almost on empty and beginning to worry by the time I got to a station. It cost less than $40 to fill the tank even though the station charged more per gallon.

Seems like I have the best price around, $1.67, in Indiana

West Central Missouri is now running between $1.40 to $1.58 a gallon. Last summer, while on vacation in a SUV pulling a travel trailer, I paid $2.79 at one place in Utah.

In El Salvador, we are paying about $2.40 for premium gas...Luckily, my car is very small, my office is quite near (10 minutes away) ...I spend about $10-$15 per week...
One thing that is good to know is whether prices are updated at the gas stations every day or not (here in ES, prices are updated once a week, on Friday, so you get the new prices on Saturday morning...so, if I see that the barrel is going up - internationally - then I know prices on Saturday are going to be more expensive and I make sure I fuel my car on Friday night...if the tendency is towards cheaper oil, I might wait until Saturday night and take my chance...)

We were at about $1.77 when I filled up my gas tank last week.
